Grab a cowboy hat and some boots and take a drive to the Island this weekend.
The fifth annual edition of Manitoulin Country Fest kicks off today, Aug. 4, and runs throughout the weekend until Aug. 7, along the shoreline of Little Current.
The lineup includes a number of the country's most accomplished country musicians, including Jason Blaine, Amanda Wilkinson, One More Girl, Tara Oram, Dean Brody, Jason McCoy, Jamie Warren, George Canyon and Manitoulin's own Crystal Shawanda.
The weekend includes live performances during the day, as well as a songwriter showcase featuring some of the performers.
