'Straight from the heart' to the Sudbury Arena

Bryan Adams is returning to the Nickel City.

Tickets for his May 7 show at the Sudbury Arena are set to go on sale Monday. Adams last played the Sudbury Arena in March 2009 to a sold-out crowd.

Adams, one of the most popular artists in Canadian music history, broke through to mainstream success with 1983's "Cuts Like a Knife," which spawned hits in "Straight from the Heart" and "This Time.” His hit singles also include “Run to You” and “Summer of '69.” He has won numerous Juno and Grammy awards, and has also been nominated for three Oscars.
