Northern Lights Festival Boréal is on the lookout for vendors, crafters and artisans for its 2012 festival.

The festival, which runs from July 6 to 8 at Bell Park, attracts between 11,000 and 17,000 visitors from the north and beyond.

Interested vendors are asked to apply — responses are expected to go out to applicants by May 31.

“Originality is certainly an asset, as NLFB organizers seek to preserve the eclectic and diverse atmosphere the festival has become known for,” a media release stated.
Last year, the festival boasted a diverse group of vendors and not-for-profit displays.

“We seek only to expand on this for 2012,” Max Merrifield, outreach and logistics co-ordinator of the festival, stated.

NLFB is the country's longest continuous running music festival. It can be described as “a roots music festival that loves modern music” or “a modern music festival that's in love with its roots.”
