Twenty-five students from the Food and Nutrition course at Chelmsford Valley District Composite School whipped up some good eats during the school's annual Iron Chef Competition on May 3.

The students were divided into four teams and had to work with 10 secret ingredients which were revealed at the start of the competition. Each team was required to create a meal within 50 minutes without recipes or guidance.

Staff and guests judges scored each plate based on presentation, texture, taste and temperature.
