Toronto Celebrates Sudbury back for another year

Hometown pride will be front and centre when Toronto Celebrates Sudbury.

The second annual event, held this year at 99 Sudbury – The Gallery, will be held in support of Health Sciences North.

The event was designed to give “Sudbury expats a chance to reminisce and network while raising funds for a hometown charity.”

“After such a successful first event last year, we're excited to bring back Toronto Celebrates Sudbury,” said Perry Dellelce, a former Sudburian and current Toronto lawyer responsible for the event. “There's a lot of hometown pride for Sudbury here in Toronto and we're happy to have this year's proceeds heading to HSN, which offers the highest quality of patient care and research to the Sudbury region and beyond.”

Last year's event brought together some 250 people, and supported Laurentian University's Next 50 capital campaign. This year, the event is scheduled for Nov. 14.

Tickets to the event can now be purchased at torontocelebratessudbury.com for $200.
