Exploring the power of popular fiction

The Laurentian University English Department, The English Literature Society and the LUminaries Reading Series have joined forces again to bring forward The Power of Popular Fiction.

Horror and science fiction author Mark Leslie, thriller and science fiction author Scott Overton and Christmas story author John Forrest will be reading from their 2012 releases.

The evening runs from 7 until 10 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Vale Living With Lakes Centre. Following the readings, authors will be on hand for a question and answer session about writing popular fiction.

Admission is free.
