Rainbow Camp is looking for votes in an effort to win the Aviva Community Fund contest.

The camp for queer teens located in Thessalon has a $75,000 budget for its 2013 season, and is always looking for innovative fundraising ideas.

The camp, which provides a unique one-week place for queer teenagers to live in acceptance, safety and openness, needs to obtain at least 500 votes to be considered for the top prize.

“Go to rainbowcamp.ca and click on the 'vote' button – the more votes the more chances Rainbow Camp has at qualifying,” the camp stated.

Round one of qualifying wraps up Oct. 15.
