The Canadian Cancer Society has recently introduced a lottery, which puts $25,000 in the hands of 30 lucky Ontarians.

Debbie McGee, a Val Caron resident, was recently selected as a winner.

“Congratulations to McGee, and thank you to everyone who bought a ticket,” said Janice Gray, lottery manager at the CCS, Ontario Division. “This is just a small taste of the excitement yet to come because this year's prize line-up is nothing short of spectacular.”

According to the CCS, there are no small prizes in the lottery. Cars and cash are just some of the hot items up for grabs.

All net revenue from the lottery goes to fund livesaving research for all forms of cancer.
