Experience the power of suggestion, psychology, and magic of Gabriello Pitman when he returns to Sudbury on Nov. 2 in the new Theatre Cambrian hall.
Pitman is a hypnotist and psychological illusionist. He is a professional entertainer with nearly five years of experience in entertainment and promotion who has long used the power of imagination to couple both the concrete world of science to the mysterious realm of hypnosis.
“(He) has an advanced background in quantum physics and has spent the past few years studying social dynamics and psychology, developing a deep understanding of human behaviour, persuasion, influence and suggestion,” according to a media release. “He is recognized for his feats of close-up psychological illusions in conversational and stage performance settings.”
Pitman said he thoroughly enjoys what he does.
"Performing feels exceptionally good," he said. "The rush is what makes it all worth it. Also, running a business is fun. There's so much to learn. On top of that, I'll soon be applying hypnosis to help people with confidence, anxiety and phobias. There's lots of good to come out of this."
He said audiences can expect a fun night, with plenty of wonder, at the show.
"Once I had a guy walk out of the theatre because he was freaked out by what was happening," Pitman said. "So, it'll be crazy, but it'll also be super fun. Again, nothing about this is psychic or supernatural, but it'll appear as if it is. Ultimately, you can expect to have fun."
