Northern Ontario's premiere faith-based film festival is returning.
Family friendly films will be screening at The Water Gate, located at 1534 Pioneer Rd., from Nov. 5 to 10.
“Last year, we changed the festival’s format to a week-long event and this new format was very well received by the public,” said Lina Madore, project director. “Attendees confirmed their preference of viewing films in the evening and we saw a 30-per-cent increase in attendance from previous years.”
The festival's mandate is to “meet family's entertainment needs by showing films with high cinematographic excellence, free of unnecessary violence, nudity and coarse language,” Madore said.
This year's gala film, October Baby, screens Nov. 5 at 7 p.m., followed by live entertainment and a catered reception.
Gala tickets are $20, LifePass books are $20 and individual tickets to screenings cost $5. They can be purcahsed from The Water Gate or at Gloria's Restaurant or by phoning 705-523-1437.
