“Sudlebrities” will be joining local professional dancers for the chance to out-dance their competitors, all in support of children with physical disabilities.
“Our participants have given so much of their own time to make this event entertaining and to help local Easter Seals children,” said committee Co-Chair Karen Wilson.
Celebrity judges, along with guests at the event, will determine which dance team will be the stars of 2013.
Pairing off this year are:
-Sylvie Gaskin, past-president of Rotary Sunrisers and pro dancer Bob Leduc
-Beau Frescura, RBC Dominion Securities and pro dancer Ramona Laderoute
-Carole McAuley, vice-president of administration at Laurentian University and pro dancer Robert Masih
-Jen Almenar, owner of Evolve Active Therapy and pro dancer Dan Kaltiainen
-Bob Landry, superintendent at Vale and pro dancer Lucie Lacroix
-Debbie Lafreniere, office manager at Dr. Marshall Clarke and pro dancer Dennis Harasymchuk
In addition to the dance competition, the evening will include a cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, wine tasting, dinner and a silent and live auction.
The event is presented by Norman Piche of Investors Group, who competed in the 2012 competition.
Tickets are available through Easter Seals at 705-566-8858 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tickets are $90 each or $720 for a corporate table.
