Le Maschere Laurenziane, a student theatre group housed in the university's Italian Department, is presenting the show Feb. 8 to 10. Le bocce della morte is an original play written by LU Italian professors Diana Iuele-Colilli and Christine Sansalone.
It is set in present day Sudbury, where the fictitious Bruno Rossetti is found dead in the Caruso Club's bocce courts.
As his grieving wife, family and friends try to find resolve in his death, they discover many of his secrets.
The production will be on stage at the Alphonse Raymond Theatre at Laurentian University on Feb. 8 at 11:30 a.m. and 8 p.m., Feb. 9 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 10 at 2 p.m.
