Located on Highway 64, north of Noelville, Cormier will be playing at Parc Riverain. The new waterfront park is well on its way to becoming known for attracting world-class performers — this fall, Valdy premiered at the facility.
From each $30 ticket sold, $10 will be going to a fund for enhancing the park.
Homemade pies will also be available for auction, in support of the park.
Cormier's show will begin with performances by local musicians Fern McCoy and Verdon Vaillancourt. The two won the chance to open for Cormier through an audition process, guaranteeing a great show for everyone who comes out.
Advance tickets for the Feb. 8 show are available in Sudbury at Records on Wheels, Stugeon Falls at Kwik-Way on Highway 17, in North Bay at Acclaim Sound and Lighting, and at the Lavigne Tavern.
Phone 705-594-2301 for more information. Tickets will also be available at the door.
