An artist-educator foundations course presented by The Royal Conservatory, with support from the Ontario Arts Council, is coming to Sudbury to help artists become more involved in artistic education.

Each class combines educational content and theory with a creative "laboratory' environment" and facilitated by expert leaders who are both working artists and experienced educators, according to a news release.

Artists are required to attend all six days to receive the certificate of completion. While the course would normally cost $600, OAC’s subsidy means that artists pay only $60.

Pandora Topp and Carlie Howell will be facilitating the course in Sudbury April 5 to 7, then April 12 to 14.
