High school students can now be part of the RBC Dominion Art Impact Juried Art Show, competing against each other for space in the Artists On Elgin exhibition.

Secondary school students are invited to submit pieces in any two or three dimensional medium, representing this year's themes of Elements — Earth, Fire, Wind and Water.

AOE opted to open the contest to young people in an effort in engage students in the arts. Three cash prizes of $250, $150 and $100 will be awarded to the top three pieces, which will also be displayed at the Vale Living With Lakes Centre.

“We know there is a lot of talent in secondary schools and we look forward to watching it emerge in our second RBC Dominion Securities Art Impact Juried Art Show,”

Submissions will be judged by a jury of local artists. Registration is open from now until April 15. For more information or a registration package, visit www.artistsonelgin.ca or phone 705-674-0415.
