By: Sudbury Northern Life Staff

Sudburians are invited to get a glimpse of homelessness Feb. 23 when they trek around the city during the Coldest Night of the Year.

Approximately 200 people are signed up to walk two-, five- and 10-kilometre routes around downtown, to promote awareness of homelessness and raise funds for the Samaritan Centre.

A meal will be served at the Rainbow Centre after the walk.

The walk gets underway at 5 p.m. There is still time for the community to get involved or make a donation.

For more information, visit coldestnightoftheyear.org or contact Kevin Serviss at the Samaritan Centre at 705-669-0111.
