Secondary school students are invited to submit pieces in any two or three dimensional medium, representing this year's themes of Elements — Earth, Fire, Wind and Water.
AOE opted to open the contest to young people in an effort in engage students in the arts. Three cash prizes of $250, $150 and $100 will be awarded to the top three pieces, which will also be displayed at the Vale Living With Lakes Centre.
“We know there is a lot of talent in secondary schools and we look forward to watching it emerge in our second RBC Dominion Securities Art Impact Juried Art Show.”
Submissions will be judged by a jury of local artists. Registration is open from now until April 15.
