Lasalle Secondary School students are turning their artistic talents to helping those battling cancer.

On Feb. 27 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., students will be hosting “Art for the Cure” in the gymnasium at Carl A. Nesbitt Public School.

Organized by Grade 12 Lasalle student Rachel Labelle and recent grad Nangoons Wabagejig, the event will see students selling art they created in a silent auction format.

Proceeds from the event will benefit cancer research.
