Organizers of the I-Rish I Was Playing Pool tournament are hoping to rack up the dollars for the Sudbury Manitoulin Children’s Foundation's Send-A-Kid To Camp program.

The charity pool tournament, slated for March 16 at Rhythm N' Cues, is open to the entire community.

“There is no need to be a pool expert — the tournament is for all levels of experience, including those who have never played before,” a media release from the SMCF stated. “As the tournament falls on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day, guests are encouraged to dress up in their most creative green outfits.”

The event gets underway at 6:30 p.m. To register, bring $15 for entry, and get in on the competition.
