Sudbury Theatre Centre is banking on some lucky charms to make its 2013 gala fundraiser a success. On March 16, theatre supporters will have the opportunity to bid on some high-end prizes at the Emerald Gala Dinner Auction.
VIA Rail travel vouchers, Toronto Blue Jays tickets, skydiving lessons, a Cortina cruise, a ride-along with Greater Sudbury Police and theatre tickets are all up for grabs.
“The annual event is one of the premiere evenings on the Greater Sudbury social calendar and features over one hundred items up for auction throughout the night,” STC stated. “This year's Gala is infused with the flavour of St. Patrick's Day — hence the Emerald theme — and celebrates the STC as one of Northern Ontario's most vibrant cultural institutions.”
The event gets underway at 5 p.m. in the Palladium Ballroom at the Radisson Hotel. Dinner begins at 6.
Tickets cost $85 each, or $640 for a table of eight. They can be purchased by phoning 705-674-8381.
