Curtain rising on ‘Best of Billboard 3’ at Theatre Cambrian

Theatre Cambrian is one again shining the spotlight on some of the biggest names in music during its annual Billboard performance.

This year, however, the show will feature the best of the best.

“Once again, we are taking this opportunity to pay tribute to some of Billboard Music Chart’s top performers of all time,” said Theatre Cambrian's executive director Mark Mannisto. “Also, we are using this event as a means of performing numbers that will appeal to all music lovers — country, rock n' roll, R & B, pop, and more chart toppers will be featured.”

Theatre Cambrian is presenting The Best of Billboard 3 from May 9-25 at 40 Eyre St.

Tickets prices are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors and students and $20 for children 13 and under.

“Last year’s concert was something very unique,” Mannisto said.

“It was an all-inclusive interactive concert — a rock show, a jazz concert, a country hoe-down and a mosh pit all in one. There was something for everyone. We want to capture that same feeling yet again.”

Right as the excitement for Billboard is peaking, Theatre Cambrian will also be accepting registrations for its Summertime Stage program, the summer-theatre camp for kids.

“We are answering the call of our audiences and giving more opportunities to children who have the creative spirit to expand their artistic horizons,” Mannisto said.
Throughout the summer, there will be four two-week sessions for children of all ages.
