The Vale Concert Series in support of the Sudbury Food Bank is returning.

On May 22, The Laws are kicking off the series at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre.

Widely regarded as one of the strongest husband and wife acts originating in Canada, The Laws blend country with folk, specializing in smooth harmonies, outstanding musicianship and solid songwriting.

Audiences are in for a treat, according to organizers.

“We were very encouraged by the success of last year's Concert Series and we are thrilled once again to be bringing amazing Canadian acts such as The Laws to Sudbury for our community to enjoy, while supporting such a worthy cause,” said Kelly Strong, vice-president of Vale's Ontario and UK operations.

The Laws are the first of five performances to be held in Sudbury throughout the summer.

All shows begin at 7 p.m., rain or shine.

Admission is free, but monetary donations to the Food Bank are accepted.
