Colleen Wagner’s award-winning play has been leaving audiences with “tears and goosebumps,” according to a news release.

The staging of the play is unique and electrifying, said Encore Theatre. The characters’ long and moving journey is mirrored by the audience members’ movement through the space — from execution chamber, to dead farm fields, to the final dramatic confrontation in the deep woods.
'The Monument' takes centre stage July 16 to July 20 at 8 p.m. at the Ernie Checkeris Theatre at Thorneloe University. Tickets are $25 for adults, $22 for seniors and $20 for students.
Seating is intimate and extremely limited, so audience members are encouraged to buy tickets beforehand at www.encoretheatre.ca.
