Family, fun and science at Science North's New Year's Eve family day

As part of the New Year’s Eve Family Fun Day on Dec. 31, the Science North Planetarium will offer free presentations of "To Space and Back."

Tickets to the New Year’s Eve Family Fun Day, which are $15 each for members and $25 each for non-members, are available at Science North and online.

The fun day, which starts at 11 a.m., also features the Evans & Evans Magic Show in the Vale Cavern. Come in costume (perhaps as a magician, sorcerer, witch, fairy or rabbit) and take part in enchanted science activities and crafts.

Ring the New Year with a countdown and balloon drop at 5 p.m.
