White Coat, Black Art host visiting Sudbury

Dr. Brian Goldman will be signing his book “The Night Shift: Real Life in the Heart of the ER” at Chapters from 2-3 p.m.

He'll then head over to the Steelworkers Hall, where he'll be one of the keynote speakers on a public forum on end-of-life care.

The event also features Dr. Harvey Chochinov, a professor at the University of Manitoba and the holder of a Canada Research Chair in palliative care.

The forum, which is free of charge, is being hosted by Health Sciences North, Maison Vale Hospice, Warmhearts Palliative Caregivers Sudbury/Manitoulin, the North East Community Care Access Centre and St. Joseph's Health Centre.

Doors to the event open at 5:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
