Pat Godin embraces The Cold

Eighteen-year-old local singer-songwriter Pat Godin will release his first album, "The Cold", Jan. 28. The release event will take place from 5-8 p.m. at Little Montreal on Elgin Street.

Eighteen-year-old local singer-songwriter Pat Godin will release his first album, "The Cold", Jan. 28.

The release event will take place from 5-8 p.m. at Little Montreal on Elgin Street.

The Laurentian University French commerce student describes his music as “indie/folk.”

Although "The Cold" is English, Godin is bilingual and writes songs in French.

He won the local French music competition Brunante last May. He will participate in the TFO show "JAM" in Montreal, the biggest French music festival in all of North America.
