The annual tribute to Stompin' Tom's classic “Sudbury Saturday Night” by the Sudbury Wolves and Vale is getting kicked up a notch this year.

The Wolves and Vale are joined this year by Northern Life and Respect is Burning Kitchen & Bar for a new way to celebrate Stompin' Tom's ode to Nickel City and win big at the same time.

Taking part is easy: Send Northern Life a video of you stomping along to Stompin’ Tom’s “Sudbury Saturday Night.” All videos will be posted to Northern Life's Facebook page (facebook.com/northernlife.ca) where people will be able to vote for their favourites.

The video with the most votes wins some awesome prizes.

To enter, simply send us a video of you, your friends, your dog, your kids — it's up to you — stomping, singing and dancing to “Sudbury Saturday Night.” It’s that simple, and a whole lot of fun!

We're even going to help you out. Check out our sample video and the instructions on how to enter.

You don't have to be a professional. We're not looking for Oscar-winning films here. What counts most is creativity and enthusiasm.

What can you win? How about four tickets to Vale's Sudbury Saturday Night game on March 1 at 7 p.m., when the Sudbury Wolves take on the Niagara IceDogs; a hockey stick signed by the Sudbury Wolves; and, perhaps best of all, free pasta once a week for a year from Respect is Burning Kitchen & Bar in Downtown Sudbury.

The deadline to enter is Feb. 11. Online voting will commence Feb. 12 and run until Feb. 23.

Get stomping!
