Pianist Tina Chong presents Keyed Fantasies

This Valentine’s day, La Slague presents pianist Tina Chong’s Keyed Fantasies at Collège Boréal’s concert hall at 8 p.m. on Feb. 14.

The concert includes renowned compositions from the Romantic era by Haendel, Beethoven, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Schumann and Prokofiev.

Tina Chong made her orchestral debut at the age of nine and has been a guest soloist with many orchestras, including the Calgary Philharmonic, l’Orquestra Sinfonica Brasileira and the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra.

A Semi-finalist and winner of the Best Canadian Artist Award at the 2011 Montreal International Musical Competition, Tina Chong also won First Prize in the 2010 Canadian Music Competition, as well as prizes at several other international competitions.

Tickets are available for $25 (adults) or $22.50 (students and seniors) at La Slague’s ticket agency TNO (www.leTNO.ca) and at the door.
