Open Studio wants your mail art

Cambrian College’s “Open Studio” is hosting a Mail Art exhibition as a way to reach out beyond the classroom, with submissions arriving from across the world, including Germany, Japan, Australia and France.
Cambrian College’s “Open Studio” is hosting a Mail Art exhibition as a way to reach out beyond the classroom, with submissions arriving from across the world, including Germany, Japan, Australia and France.

The unjuried exhibit is looking for postcards, letters, envelope art, collages, stamp art, buttons, artist-made books, photocopy art, CDs, DVDs (containing music, sound art, poetry, video art etc.) mixed media works, experimental bits and pieces.

Mail art is being accepted now through April 4, and an unlimited amount of art can be sent in or dropped off at The Open Studio, Cambrian College, 93 Cedar St., unit 303, Sudbury ON P3E 1A7. There are no fees to enter the exhibit.

Exhibition dates are March 5 to April 5 2014, and the reception will take place March 20 from 5-8 p.m.
