A rain garden resembles a regular garden, only it’s designed to collect and clean rain that runs off roofs and driveways before reaching the lake.

Jeff Thompson from Thompson Environmental will hold a rain garden workshop for the public on March 31.

During the workshop participants will learn how to design, build and maintain a rain garden.

The workshop will be held at the Living With Lakes Centre located at 840 Ramsey Lake Rd. from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
