Local author's book highlights Great Lakes swimmers

Local writer Laura Young has just published a book about people who have swum across the Great Lakes.

The book, published by Scrivener Press, is called “Solo, Yet Never Alone: Swimming the Great Lakes.”

A launch for the book will be held starting at 6:30 p.m. May 22 at the Ben F. Avery Building at Laurentian University. The book will be available for purchase at the event for $22.95 plus tax.


Young will also be holding a book signing at Chapters on May 31 from 2-5 p.m.
