Gauvreau students shine at national competition

Twenty-six models and actors from the Gauvreau Academy of Performing Arts and Modelling participated in the 22nd Annual Canadian Model and Talent Competition earlier this month.

The event is considered by the world's top modelling and talent agents, casting directors, managers and dignitaries to be one of the best opportunities to network and launch their careers.

The following Gauvreau students placed in the competition:

Ayla Falcioni – 4 years old
Grand Overall Child Actor of the Year
Winner – Monologue
1st runner-up – Commercial Print

Myla McSherry-Whitman – 5 years old
Winner - Kids Casting
1st runner-up - TV Commercial
2nd runner-up – Photography

Tahlia Fournier – 5 years old
Winner – TV Commercial

Jessica-Jean Cooper – 11 years old
Grand Overall Winner
Model of the Year
Winner – Runway
1st runner-up Photography

Jacob Olivier Ferris – 12 years old
Winner – TV Commercial
1st runner-up – Commercial Print

Jessica McSherry – Adult
2nd runner-up Runway
