Myths and Mirrors hosting 12-hour Dance-A-Thon

Myths and Mirrors Community Arts is holding its second annual Dance-A-Thon from 8 p.m. May 31 to 8 a.m. June 1 at Fromagerie Elgin. Participants register online, collect pledges and proceed to dance all night long — or at least a portion of it.

Myths and Mirrors Community Arts is holding its second annual Dance-A-Thon from 8 p.m. May 31 to 8 a.m. June 1 at Fromagerie Elgin.

Participants register online, collect pledges and proceed to dance all night long — or at least a portion of it.

Non-stop music will be curated by DJ Christian Pelletier and guests. Dancers can register as a team (with a maximum of four people) or individually.

They are are encouraged to dress up, as there will be a prize for the most styling group. There are also prizes reserved for the top pledge earners.

The proceeds go to support outreach programming at Myths and Mirrors, which helps to build community and gives people a voice through collaborative art making, story sharing and infusing art into our everyday lives.
