A video commissioned by Greater Sudbury police on transgender issues will be screened May 28 at Sudbury Secondary School's Sheridan Auditorium.

The video, produced in partnership with the transgender community support group TG Innerselves, is entitled “Creating Awareness and Understanding of the Transgender Community.”

“The purpose of the video is to provide your organization with information and points of discussion as your members reflect on their interactions with the transgender community and the implications of relationship building that lead to strong partnerships,” a press release said.

Doors to the event open at 6 p.m., and the screening takes place at 6:30 p.m. There will be a reception with light refreshments following the presentation.
