Artists on Elgin's latest exhibit is dedicated to large visual works.

The Grand Art Show will be located at Cambrian College’s Open Studio on 93 Cedar Street from June 13-21. All of these works are a minimum of 48” x 36” in size.

Paddy O’Sullivan, Ivan Wheale, Carole Rodrigue, Bill Whittaker, Susan O’Donnell, Frank Danielson, Rosie Maddock, Brigitte Bere, Hermina Hubert and Linda Mullola are among the artists who will have their works on display.

“This is a one-of-a-kind show for Artists on Elgin, as we have never been able to feature such a large group member show due to lack of space in our storefront,” said Shelby Ramm, marketing and sales manager with Artists on Elgin.

“There are no other exhibits of this nature represented in Sudbury, and we are very proud of the work produced by the artists exhibiting, as well as the partnership established between Artists on Elgin and Cambrian College’s Open Studio.
Open Studio has provided us with an amazing space that will happily hold the 17 large works.”

As the exhibit features such an array of artists the public can expect many different styles to be present including: landscapes, realism, abstract, still life, etc.

“This exhibit presents an excellent opportunity to acquire an original work of art for your large space,” said Shelby Ramm. “This exhibit will surely have something for everyone and promises to be very captivating.”

Artists on Elgin will hold an opening reception for The Grand Art Show June 14 at Open Studio from 1-4 p.m. The public is invited to attend, enjoy refreshments and meet the artists.
