Heavy metal rockers Psychotic Gardening shake up Sudbury on Aug. 14.

Touring to support their latest release, Hymnosis, the group hits the stage at 9 p.m. Cost is $10 at the door. This is an age of majority event, promising affordable beer and free pool.

The band says Hymnosis is strongly rooted in classic heavy metal, straight through to the birth of death metal. It's Psychotic Gardening's third release, following up 2007's HŸrdŸr and 2011's Humanitorium.
