Local author Hally Willmott will be signing copies of her second book, “Revelations,” at Chapters from 2-6 p.m. Aug. 8 and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 9.

The sequel to her first novel, “Awakenings,” the young adult book follows 16-year-old Jacey Adison, who is now entrenched in a world where every fairy-tale, myth and fantasy is becoming a reality.

In her quest to learn more about her past and the use of her newly discovered magical powers, she meets new foes and allies that can change the course of her life.

She realizes there is more than one “guardian angel” in her life and comes to understand that love is complex and complicated.

“I am very excited to be promoting my second book,” said Willmott, in a press release. "Upon its release, book two was in the top 100 for sales on Amazon and recently book one has become a best seller again on Amazon."

The book can be purchased through Chapters, Amazon and Barnes and Noble and Kobo.

A school resource officer with the Greater Sudbury Police Service, Willmott hopes young people will not only read her book but be inspired by her story and gain the confidence to pursue their own aspirations.

“I am so grateful to my family, friends, the Greater Sudbury Police Service, the local schools and the community at large who have encouraged and supported me through this wonderful journey and I look forward to sharing the sequel with everyone,” said Willmott.
