Calling all Starfleet cadets aged 13 to 18. Grab your uniform and set your phasers to stun for Science North's Sept. 19 IMAX screening of the 2013 film "Star Trek: Into Darkness."

The event is part of the science centre's “What the Flick?” series for teens.

Besides the movie, participants are invited to take part in science activities — in this case learning about gravitational fields, superconductivity, magnetic levitation and comets. The all-girl local band Anxiety will also be performing.

The event begins at 7 p.m., and is free for Science North members and $10 for non-members.
