As part of a tour to promote their fourth album, "Let's Be Ready," Toronto indie rock band The Wooden Sky hits the legendary stage at The Townehouse on Sept. 18.

Let's Be Ready follows up their Juno Award-nominated album Every Child A Daughter, Every Moon A Sun.

The Wooden Sky's guitarist/keyboard player, Simon Walker, is currently participating in a mentorship program put on in partnership between Music and Film in Motion and the Canadian Independent Recording Artists' Association.

He is paired with a Northern Ontario musician and will offer advice and tips on their music career.

Tickets to the performance, which begins at 9 p.m., cost $10 each, and are available by visiting The Townhouse's website, thetownehouse.com.
