Opportunities for local actors at STC

Are you a local actor or theatre artist over the age of 19? Newly-appointed Sudbury Theatre Centre artistic director Caleb Marshall wants to meet you at an open call Sept. 29.

“I’d like to begin a database of everyone in our region who would like to work with STC either performing on stage or working in any other capacity like directing, designing, set painting and making props,” he said, in a press release.

“As we embark upon new projects, this resource will help me select who might wish to join us. An audition or a pitch to me is the beginning of that process.”

Actors are invited to perform two short contrasting monologues or one monologue with a brief a acappella song.

A photo and bio are required. Other theatre artists are invited to join Marshall for a chat to present their resume and/or portfolio.
