Young musicians invited to Rock A Future tour

The band Childsplay from Vancouver, B.C. will conduct free music workshops at Sudbury Secondary School's Sheridan Auditorium starting at 4 p.m. for young people interested in pursuing a career in music.

During the evening there will be a free concert featuring local bands, solo performers (between the ages of 13 to 18) and a performance by Childsplay.

There will be prizes and giveaways throughout the day from such sponsors as Long & McQuade, Longboard Labs, Sabian, Rayne Longboards and many others, including a complete longboard package.

The event is being hosted by the Sudbury Youth Rocks Program, actualMUSICians.org, the Rainbow District School Board and The Intact Foundation bring you Rock A Future – The Next Generation Tour.

Young bands and solo acts wishing to have a chance to participate are asked to submit a request to [email protected].
