Jones LeBeau's photo wins 2015 Picture our Lakes

As the winner of the Picture our Lakes Contest, Jones LeBeau's photo of the Wanapitei River appears on the cover of the 2015 Picture Our Lakes calendar.

The winners of the contest were revealed at a Sept. 18 reception.

In recognition of his accomplishment, LeBeau receives a private plane ride over the city to capture it from above and two tickets to SilverCity Cinemas.

Libby Fyon was the winner of the new category — Undiscovered Lake — for her photo of Bennett Lake, a lake which has never been featured in any Picture OUr Lakes calendar. Fyon was awarded two Sudbury Symphony tickets.

Tyler Leduc won the Youth category with his photo of Ramsey Lake, and received two tickets to SilverCity Cinemas.

Other photographers whose photos are featured in the 2015 Picture Our Lakes Calendar are: Alasdair MacLeod (January), David Hay (February), Sue-Lyn Roy (March), Lori Ann Sirkka (April), Joël Dickinson (May), Deb Trahan-Pero (June), Allan Omen (July), Patrick Carew (August), Pete Mayer (September), Sherry Mayer (October), Andrea Larsen (November) and Blaine Nichols (December).

The 2015 Picture Our Lakes Calendars are now on sale for $20 each.
