Here's the award winners:

Cinéfest Sudbury Audience Choice Award — Elsa & Fred directed by Michael Radford

Cinéfest Sudbury Audience Choice Award: Best Documentary — I Am Big Bird: The Caroll Spinney Story directed by Dave LaMattina & Chad N. Walker.

Cinéfest Sudbury Audience Choice Award: Best Short Film - Petit frère (Little Brother) directed by Rémi St-Michel.

The Bill Clement Outstanding Volunteer Award — Carmen Thorpe.

Best in Shorts first place, open category — Beautiful Monster, directed by Callam Rodya.

Best in Shorts runner-up, open category – Bullet-Headed, directed by Zahra Golafshani.

Best in Shorts first place, student category – 2:00, directed by Martin Smith.

Best in Shorts runner up, student category – Back to Basics, Eric Harrison.

Best in Shorts Northern Flicks Award — Raising Hope: A Relay for Life Story, directed by Paul W. Los & Nora Burns.

Best in Shorts Best Animation Award – Clarabel, directed by Ben Bruhmuller.
