Local author explores life in WWII Netherlands

Sudbury author Renny deGroot is holding a book signing Sept. 27 for her debut adult novel, “Family Business.”

The book is about a young man struggling to learn the meaning of freedom amidst family conflict during the Great Depression and the German occupation of the Netherlands during the Second World War.

The book signing takes place at Chapters from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
