The community is invited to an evening of local music, art and film at the Chez Nous on the Rocks Shindig Oct. 25.

The event, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at Fromagerie Elgin, features music by Kevin Closs, Dayv Poulin, and Lisa Marie Naponse, as well as stage painting by Sarah King Gold and a short film by Greenboots.

It's organized by Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury, a grassroots network of citizen groups and individuals who share a vision of Sudbury as a green, healthy and engaged community.

“We are so excited about this event,” said Naomi Grant of Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury.

“Throughout the Chez Nous on the Rocks project, local folks have been tremendously generous in sharing their vision of the community with us. Now it is time to come together to celebrate those amazing local voices and the wonderful local talent we have here in Greater Sudbury.”

Admission is by donation (suggested amount $20). Donations will support local artists contributing to the project, and grassroots community projects enhancing our community.
