Laugh Out Loud Sudbury has announced the headliners for its 2015 festival, which takes place Feb. 4-7.

Jim Jeffries will perform starting at 7 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Sudbury Arena.

With one of the top Comedy Shows right now on Netflix, “Bare,” Australian standup comic Jefferies first established himself as one of the outstanding comedians of his generation in Europe, making his mark selling out at the Edinburgh Fringe and Montreal Just for Laughs festivals before moving to Los Angeles in 2009. He has been selling out globally ever since.

He found immediate success in the States, first seen on HBO’s “Down and Dirty with Jim Norton,” which led to his explosively popular, prestigious one-hour HBO special, “I Swear to God.”

He continued wowing audiences with his controversial, belief-challenging comedy in his follow up special, “Alcoholocaust” which aired on Showtime in the U.S. and Comedy Central UK and abroad.

Jefferies’ third one-hour special, “Fully Functional” premiered on EPIX in the fall of 2012 and can currently be seen on Netflix.

Bill Engvall will perform Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Sudbury Arena.

He's a Grammy nominated, multi-platinum selling recording artist and one of the top comedians in the country. Most recently, Engvall was a contestant on season 17 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, and as a fan favourite, he made it to the finals. Earlier this year, Engvall lent his voice to the animated comedy series "Bounty Hunters," which aired on CMT.

He previously starred in, and executive produced, the TBS sitcom "The Bill Engvall Show." Engvall was part of the enormously successful Blue Collar Comedy concert films, which sold more than nine million units and received a Grammy nomination.

He also starred on the WB’s hit sketch comedy show "Blue Collar TV" and in several solo specials for Comedy Central. In 2012 he reunited with Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy on the "Them Idiots Whirled Tour," which aired as a special on CMT.

Tickets to both shows cost $48.50, with a package deal of $95. They go on sale Oct. 30 at the Sudbury Arena Box Office. Visit www.greatersudbury.ca or phone 705-671-3000.
