Voices Chez Nous exhibit explores Sudburians' stories

We all have stories to tell. What would those stories look like transformed through art? Find out at Voices Chez Nous. Check out the Voices Chez Nous art exhibit at Cambrian’s College’s Open Studio Oct. 25 to Nov. 7.

Local artists will come together for two days of creation at the Open Studio, inspired by local voices collected during Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury’s Chez Nous on the Rocks project, and facilitated by Sarah King Gold of Myths and Mirrors.

“Many people have generously shared their thoughts, stories and dreams about our community,” said Naomi Grant of Coalition for a Liveable Sudbury. “Now we will see some of these take new life, as they are expressed through art.”

The exhibit's opening reception takes place from 9 to 10:30 p.m. and the closing reception takes place from 5-8 p.m. Nov. 4.

Admission is free, but donations are welcome and will go towards supporting local artists and local grassroots community projects.
