“Je n’y suis plus,” is a one-woman show that's “your opportunity to discover a rising star of Franco-Ontarian theatre,” according to a press release.
Magali Lemèle plays the part of Ariane and co-directs the play. Ariane gives a voice to an anguish deeply felt by a generation of young women whose aspirations are overcome by modern society.
This contemporary satire, written by Marie-Claude Verdier, will be presented at the TNO Nov. 27-29.
Recently, “Je n’y suis plus” won two Prix Rideau Awards, the first for Outstanding Female Performance (Magali Lemèle) and the second for Outstanding Design (Gabriel Tsampalieros, set designer).
The show runs Nov. 27-28 at 8 p.m., and Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. There are English subtitles for the Nov. 29 shows.
