Acting studio offers film industry seminar

A seminar for those in the film industry hosted by MAS Acting Studios is set to take place Jan. 25.

“If you are ready to learn about getting started in film and television and gain valuable industry insider tips, you do not want to miss this opportunity,” a press release said.

Among the topics to be covered are actors' headshots and resumes, the audition and casting process and professional training. MAS Acting Studios owner Melissa A. Smith will also lead a Q and A session.

Those over the age of 13 are welcome to attend.

The seminar, which starts at 6 p.m., takes place at MAS Acting Studios at 887 Notre Dame Ave, Suite E., and costs $25 per person.
