Kids of all ages will love the story of young Gregory Green who loves the animals and plants that live in the forest, and has to do something fast when three beastly trolls take over and start polluting his forest playground.

The Stupendous Adventure of Gregory Green is directed by Timothy Richard, Opera2Go's Artistic Director and is conducted by Jason Noble the composer of the Opera and Opera2Go's composer-in-residence.

It features Markus Schwabe of CBC Morning North as the narrator and the voices of Elizabeth Lepock as Gregory Green; Oriana Dunlop as Sludge; Karianne Pasma as Smog and Adam Domenico Iannetta as Sawtooth.

There will be two stagings of the show — at 11:30 a.m. and at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 for children and $35 for families.

Opera2Go is also holding an Opera Showcase and Sneak Preview Gala starting at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 at Bryston's on the Park.

Guests will enjoy showstoppers from the world of opera performed by the Opera2Go ensemble ,and be the first to hear 'sneak preview' excerpts from “The Stupendous Adventure of Gregory Green.” Tickets to this event cost $45 per person.
